Le Combal is attached to the owner’s cottage but has no other neighbours within a half-mile radius. The Owners, Leila & Graham McLelland, look forward to welcoming you on your relaxing holiday and a ‘welcome hamper’ filled with local produce & wine awaits you!
The converted barn nestles on a hillside and is set in 8 acres of meadowland hence all rooms and gardens have pleasant views over rolling open countryside. There are often horses or hay bales in the adjoining meadows. There is ample shaded parking next to the property (space for 5 cars).
Le Combal sleeps 8 people (self-catering).
The living, kitchen, dining area is open plan and there are 4 large bedrooms. All rooms feature traditional stone walls, exposed timber beams and oak flooring.
There is a balcony off the dining area with panoramic views.
The gîte has 2 main terraces and cottage gardens to relax in. The higher shady terrace has a table & seating for 8 people. A BBQ is located on the lower terrace where you can dine alfresco next to the pool (seating for up to 12 people).
2 double bedrooms each have an en-suite with a shower and WC. A third double room and a twin bedroom share a large family bathroom with a bath, WC and separate large shower. All bed linen, towels & tea towels are provided.
The gîte has a fully equipped kitchen with a large 9 ring gas cooker, a dishwasher & washing machine. The living area has a DVD / CD player and TV screen.

Gîte visitors have exclusive use of the swimming pool which is solar heated and has spectacular panoramic views. The pool enclosure is private and has a changing room. As well as the BBQ dining terrace, there are decked and lawn areas with loungers to relax on.
Close to the BBQ is a summer kitchen for preparing and storing BBQ food and drinks.

Child Friendly : Children will enjoy feeding our ducks & chickens & collecting eggs. Plenty of space to play outdoor sports & run around. Child safety features as owners have a young child. High chairs, cots, baby bath etc. are available on request.
